‘Death Ship of Dartmouth’ – that was the one that had me laughing in places. Will keep a look out for ‘Rebellion’s Message’ but right now I’ve just started ‘Fields of Glory’. (Loving the photos of your scenic walks).

    • Thanks for that, Lindsey. Glad you like the pictures. Hope you enjoy ‘Fields ‘!

Oh, I really loved Fields of Glory, and Blood on the Sands. Have to wait until July to get my mits on the final installment in the trilogy, but I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Bear in mind, however, that the laughs are few and far between in this series. It’s a dark and sometimes brutal subject, and treated honestly, so you might want to do a bit of switching back to good ol’ Templar murder mysteries in between installments, as I did! But don’t let me put you off – it’s excellent reading.

Hi Austin, to quote Shakespeare – I’m made of sterner stuff! Or Elizabeth I – though I have the body of a weak and feeble woman . . . :-) I’m up to chapter 25 and lapping it up. And though I haven’t read them all (bookshops round here are cr*p) I got there before you! I bought The Last Templar when it came out :-) — And the the dog has just thrown up on the carpet and strangely that is something I don’t have the stomach for!!!

      • Hi Lindsey! Haha, yes, I’m glad – not about the dog throw incident, but your enjoyment of the books. :)

Huzzah! Excellent news. And more than well-deserved. Have shared, retweeted and generally dispersed this information.

    • You really are an excellent fellow! Many thanks.

Well, you have been entertaining and informing me for something like the last, what… eighteen years? (first of yours I bought was The Leper’s Return). The least I can do is offer that pleasure to others. :)
